Praying For Sarah Palin: Has She Come to the Kingdom For “Such a Time As This?”

There’s an old expression that talks about people who: “put their money where their mouth is.” Gambling reference aside, this expression refers to people who not only make claims, but actually backup their claims with authentic action. Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin seems to be one those types of people…and she’s a breath of fresh air in the putrid world of politics. Many in the nation were stunned when John McCain picked Palin, a relative unknown, as his running mate. But her name had been mentioned as a possible candidate for quite some time. Palin is a staunchly conservative, Pro-life, Pro-gun, Pro-Christian, first term Governor who has made a name for confronting corruption in a state that is famous for it. She began her political career as a City Councilwoman in Wasilla, Alaska in 1992. She went on to become Mayor, and eventually Governor in 2006. In 2004, she was appointed by Governor Frank Murkowski to be the Ethics Commissioner for Alaska’s Oil & Gas Commission where she blew the whistle for ethical violations committed by one of her fellow commissioners, who just happened to be the head of the state’s Republican Party. She has a reputation for taking on corruption wherever she sees it, regardless of party affiliations, which is bound to make you some enemies in the political world. But perhaps her greatest crime, according to some, is that she has the audacity to be a conservative from a small town.

When she was announced as McCain’s VP candidate, Barack Obama’s camp immediately derided her for being the “former mayor of a town of 9,000” thus re-confirming the notion that Obama and his cronies have no respect for small town Americans. You may remember Obama recently making the statement that small town Americans “bitterly cling to their guns and religion out of fear.” Strangely enough, it never occurs to high brow liberals like Obama that some people in this world might actually enjoy hunting and love God. Their conclusion is that there must be something wrong with anyone who’s not a pacifistic atheists.

But while the media and the leftists of America deride Sarah Palin’s lack of experience; let’s keep this in mind. With twelve years as a Commissioner, Mayor, and Governor—Sarah Palin has more executive experience than Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and John McCain COMBINED. Senators vote on issues, spend the people’s money, and give long winded speeches; but Governors and Mayors actually manage the Government. And let us bear in mind that Barack Obama still has not completed his FIRST TERM as a United States Senator, having been elected in 2004. If the Democrats want to have a debate on experience they are destined to lose when they attack the Republican’s number two person, who has more executive experience than their number one.

The issue that I think Sarah Palin deserves respect for, and I hope she has the greatest impact on, is the issue of Life. Todd and Sarah Palin were married twenty years ago and are the parents of five children. Their youngest, born in April, was a surprise who was diagnosed before birth with Down Syndrome. In our day, roughly ninety percent of Down Syndrome babies are aborted prior to birth. Given the option of having a “special needs” child, most parents choose to simply exterminate the baby rather than allow him or her to live. But Sarah Palin would hear nothing of it. By having a Down Syndrome baby at age 44, while serving as Governor, Palin has chosen to embrace the hardship rather than take the easy (and murderously immoral) way out.

I recently wrote a Letter to the Editor bemoaning the fact that women political leaders, who should be leading the charge to ban abortion, have repressed their God-given maternal instincts in order to advance their careers. The Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Michelle Obama types who fight tooth and nail for a “woman’s right to choose.” It saddens me to see so many women who are so duped and intoxicated with the lure of political power that they would sacrifice babies to further their careers. In all honesty, I would expect such low morals from men…but I would like to think of women as being more compassionate than that. Hillary, Pelosi, and Obama seek power. But Sarah Palin stands on principal. In watching her meteoric rise to fame, I can’t help but think of the words Mordecai said to Esther in the Old Testament when the Jews faced possibly extermination by the authorities. “Who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14 (NASB) My hope is that Palin will be to the unborn what Esther was to the Jews. My hope is that Palin is God’s appointed leader who will stand up for life and (as John McCain said about her) not let anyone tell her to sit down. My hope is that Sarah Palin will do more than just be a voice for life; but that she would actually influence the pro-choice females of America to forget politics and do the right thing for a change. But I assure you, Sarah Palin will need your prayers in abundance.

Rush Limbaugh recently said: “Sarah Palin is the very antithesis of everything liberals believe in. And they will stop at nothing to destroy her.” We’ve already seen that in hundreds of ways this week. And the attacks on Palin will intensify. But so far, Palin has shown unflinching resolve in the face of these attacks. As someone who makes his living speaking in public, I am always intrigued by public speeches whether they are religious, political, or informational. Those who are good at public speaking know when to pause, when to speak slowly and softly, when to raise their voice triumphantly, when to be serious, and when to be funny. Sarah Palin’s speech before the Republican National Convention was a work of art. She didn’t show the slightest hint of anxiety in what was perhaps the biggest pressure cooker any politician has had to speak in for the past several decades. An estimated 40 million people tuned in to see what she was like; and she electrified the crowd by telling the media in no uncertain terms that she wasn’t going to Washington to earn their approval, she was going to serve the people of America. Palin is a smooth and charismatic speaker, but she’s more than that. She appears to be a genuine, tried and true, born again Christian. And those are very rare in the political world.

Recently I watched a clip of Sarah Palin speaking to a Youth Group at her home church the Wasilla Assembly of God Church (watch it by clicking here.) And what you see in the clip is an extremely down to earth woman who is challenging the young people to make an impact for Jesus Christ. This isn’t a typical political “faith” speech that mentions everything but Jesus. This is a testimony where she speaks of being “saved” and “baptized” and she says that all of the changes she’s bringing to Alaska are worthless if Alaskans hearts aren’t changed. The Pastor who introduced her talks about how she’s the “real deal” when it comes to her Christian faith, and from watching the clip I came to the same conclusion. Of course the ultimate test for anyone’s claims of Christianity is to examine their life to see if their proclamations match their actions. Barack Obama claims to be a Christian and yet supports the murder of children born alive. Obviously there is a disconnect between his claims and his actions. But Palin has backed up her talk by taking public stands against evil that have cost her dearly. Such character is rare and such leadership is sorely needed in our world today.

I’m committing myself to praying for Sarah Palin everyday between now and November. I believe she is more than just a conservative politician that shares my views….I believe she is a sister in Christ, who maybe, possibly, perhaps, has been appointed by God…to come to this American kingdom……for such a time as this.

Obama’s Support For The Murder of Newborn Children

As the newborn baby gasped for air, the nurse was told to toss him into a pile of soiled linens where he would die within a matter of minutes. Horrified by such a suggestion, she cradled the 10 inch long, 2 pound child in her arms as he desperately clung to life. He soon died, though not entirely of natural causes. At a “mother’s” bidding, by way of a “doctor’s” lance, this child was butchered……and yet survived…only to be left for dead by the very people who had sworn by the Hippocratic Oath to keep their patients from “harm and injustice.”

What backwoods 3rd world village hospital would do such a thing? What society would allow such a ghastly practice to be legal? Would any decent person support such a deed? Indeed, here are the facts of this case. The place? Christ Hospital, Chicago, Illinois.  The time? 1999. The nurse who witnessed it? Jill Stanek. The law introduced that would have prevented such tragedies? The Born Alive Infant Protection Act. The Senator who opposed the Act? Barack Hussein Obama.

National Review’s David Freddoso reports that this Bill was proposed in three different versions by the Illinois State Legislature only to have it opposed every time by Obama. Make no mistake, this was not the typical division along party lines. With overwhelming bipartisan support the Bill passed with 12 senators voting “present” which in Illinois means you’re voting “no” but you haven’t got the spine to actually do it. A Federal version of this Bill was passed by the United States Senate by a vote of 98-0, with HILLARY CLINTON voting to support it. San Francisco’s famed left-wing Senator Barbara Boxer spoke publicly in favor of the Bill stating that even supporters of abortion like herself would oppose the practice of denying care to a child who had been born alive. Yet, Barack Obama opposed the practice of caring for mutilated newborn infants resulting from botched abortions. The question is, why would he oppose it?

Obama said from the Illinois Senate floor:

“Whenever we define a pre-viable fetus as a person that is protected by the equal protection clause or other elements in the Constitution, what we’re really saying is, in fact, that they are persons that are entitled to the kinds of protections that would be provided to a — a child.”

Bear in mind, we are not talking about a baby IN THE WOMB. We are talking about a baby who has been born alive and is breathing in a delivery room, OUTSIDE THE WOMB. A baby with 10 fingers, 10 toes, 2 hands, 2 feet, and a beating heart, who just survived a live birth, while a doctor was trying to stab it. BARACK OBAMA REFUSES TO ADMIT SUCH A BEING IS EVEN A PERSON! And therefore, Obama refuses to grant protection to such children as this.

To me, this begs a deeper question. What on earth could motivate Obama to support such a heinous act as this in the first place? I can only think of three reasons. 1. He is ignorant to such an astonishing degree that he can’t rationalize the personhood of a child. I choose to reject this option because he appears to be a very intelligent man. 2. He is so controlled by left-wing feminism (including his wife) that he opposes any opposition to abortion in a “knee-jerk” fashion without thinking through the ramifications of his decision. 3. The man is pure evil.

Having rejected option 1, I’m left grappling with options 2 and 3 which tell me that at least half of the country is ready to elect a man that is so controlled by liberal radicals that he will ignore common sense in order to appease his feminist masters. Or he is so evil that he cannot be counted upon to do the right thing when crisis situations arise. Either way, the thought of such a man as our Commander-in-Chief is utterly appalling.

In 2004, when Obama was running for the United States Senate, his Republican opponent Alan Keyes blasted him for supporting infanticide and famously declared that Jesus Christ would not support Obama because of his abortion views. Keyes stated that Obama’s infanticide views are a “deep-dyed; cold-blooded; ruthless ideology applied to such a degree that it bespeaks a hardness of heart.” (Click here to see the clip of Keyes discussing this on Fox’s Hannity & Colmes.)

Obama has been a long time supporter of partial-birth abortion; which is disturbing enough. But clearly, his opposition to the Born Alive Infant Protection Act goes way beyond a general support for abortion; or even the barbarous partial birth abortion procedure. Barack Obama has spoken out on record and voted to allow children born alive to be effectively murdered by the medical professionals who have sworn to protect them.

Many people simply disregard such babies as being unwanted in the first place. For some, they see this child as the unfortunate pregnancy of a poor Chicago girl who doesn’t have the ability to care for the child anyway. Yet I would implore you to replace the image of the poor, nameless baby…with the image of YOUR son or daughter. YOUR grandchild; YOUR niece or nephew. Would you be seething with rage at the thought of someone tossing YOUR newborn loved one into a pile of soiled linens to die? You would defend YOUR loved one at all costs. But who defends the unwanted babies of America? Why is the baby deemed less important because the mother is poor, confused, and unknown to you personally? All children deserve protection. Barack Obama REFUSES to grant it. Millions do not receive it and are LEGALLY killed every year in America; and Obama is the most ardent supporter of child murder our country knows. He’s worse than Hillary Clinton. He’s worse than Barbara Boxer. He’s worse than Ted Kennedy. Which means he’s worse than anyone and clearly lacks the basic moral qualities needed to govern our nation.

I’ll close with a word concerning the November election. Many are disgruntled that John McCain won the Republican nomination; and I myself did not support him in the Republican primaries. But facts are facts. The next President of the United States will be one of two people. It will either be the aforementioned Obama; or it will be John McCain. At this point in our political journey; 3rd party candidates stand no reasonable chance of being elected. I hope that will one day change; but as of today it hasn’t. Some see the choice of McCain or Obama as being a choice between “the lesser of two evils.” Of course this is true of ALL elections and will always be true unless Jesus Christ chooses to return and run for public office. All men are fallible. All men are sinners. And all candidates hold political positions we disagree with. McCain’s campaign finance reform bill is completely unconstitutional. McCain’s stance on border security has been weak. McCain has proven himself to be far too chummy with the liberal left. But McCain’s record on abortion has been consistent. He claims to be pro-life and he has voted pro-life. He says he will appoint judges who will decide cases based upon Constitutional interpretation rather than personal, liberal opinions. Obama, on the other had, will appoint raving liberals who take the power out of the hands of the elected representatives of the people and dictate to us their warped ideologies by Federal judicial pronouncements. Obama has declared that one of his first acts as President will be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act, which eliminates any Federal barrier to any abortion under any circumstances. If John McCain is elected there’s a good chance that some babies will be saved from the abortionist’s grasp. If Barack Obama is elected, THERE IS NO CHANCE…….ZERO CHANCE…..of babies being protected from a vicious Federal government that values a woman’s “choice” (and her vote) more than a child’s right to breathe the Divinely granted oxygen of freedom. Keep that in mind if you’re planning to vote for Obama because he has a winning smile, a smooth personality, and a fresh face. Keep that in mind if you’re considering Obama because of his dreamy promises to give you universal healthcare, financial prosperity, and world peace. Jesus said “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8:36 NASB) Yet Americans are trading empty political promises for the nation’s collective soul on a daily basis. Mark my words: God WILL judge this nation because of it’s acceptance of abortion. The judgment has already begun; and it will increase. Though the world scoffs at such pronouncements and embraces charlatans like Obama — the Word of God still stands; the Righteousness of God still reigns; and the Judgment of God still falls on the ungodly.  And America’s blind adoration for Barack Obama declares in loud and unequivocal terms our increasing ungodliness.

Obama’s opposition to the Born Alive Infant Protection Act is more than just a political posture; it is evil beyond the comprehension of all standards of decency. Keep that in mind if you’re considering staying home from the polls and pouting on November 4 because your candidate didn’t win the Republican primary. God has granted us the blessing of living in a Nation where we are allowed to choose our leaders. Many in the world do not share this freedom we have; and many in our own country will not live to see their 18th birthday arrive so they too can take part in our elective process. Sadly, they will be slaughtered…LEGALLY slaughtered…because of the sadistic control of men like Barack Hussein Obama. I for one, will bear no responsibility for his being elected. I hope you won’t either.

I Began A New Day (Abortion Poem)

Below is a poem about abortion that I recently came across on the internet.  I printed it out and included it in Sunday’s church bulletin as an insert.  Its author is “anonymous” but it is written from the perspective of a woman who struggled mightily with guilit after having an abortion…and then finding forgiveness in Jesus Christ.

Today is the 35th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, the Supreme Court decsion that effectively legalized abortion.  And as we remember and continue the fight to save future unborn lives, let us not forget to minister to the women who have been savagely duped by the “Planned Parenthoods” the “Hillary Clintons” or the “Barack Obamas” of the world that have told them they have the Constitutional right to kill their unborn kids.  The Liberals speak the Devil’s lie on abortion.  Let’s commit to lovingly, yet boldly speaking the truth to these women and the world at large.  Abortion is heinous beyond words….But the grace of God is greater than any sin, for those who will turn in repentance and faith to Jesus Christ as Lord of their life.  Even those who have had abortions…can “Begin a new day” with Jesus Christ.

I Began a New Day (A Post-Abortion Poem)

By an Anonymous Author

In a far away place and a different time,
I killed my first child, a most heinous crime.

The state didn’t come, and I didn’t stand trial.
Judge Blackmun was calm when he said with a smile,

“Killing is legal,” say we the High Court
“But don’t call it murder, Just call it ‘abort.’”

The judge in my heart would not let the case rest.
I had no defense when once put to the test.

Found guilty I was by my heart’s “supreme court.”
“You murdered your baby!” it screamed in retort.

With tears on my cheeks it was too late, I knew
to bring back the life of the child I once slew.

The gavel slammed down, and it rang in my head,
“You are guilty as charged, and deserve to be dead.

We now give you torment to pay for your sin,” was the
sentence passed down from my own court within.

“You will never escape. You’re branded. Don’t hide.
Your just due is death. You should try suicide.”

I was beaten in prison by daily attack.
I was paying a debt, so I never fought back,

No hope of escaping, and this I knew well.
I cried out to God from my own self-made hell.

That day I met Jesus. He smiled in my face.
He said, “I forgive you. Come walk in my grace.”

“Lord, I believe you forgive me, and yet,
Blameless you are. Can you pay for my debt?

“And Lord, please don’t touch me, for I am unclean.
I’m filthy with murder, a most wretched being.”

I poured out my story. He showed no surprise.
I gazed up with awe at the love in His eyes.

“I paid for your crime, yes, was nailed to a tree.
There’s no condemnation, if you’ll trust in Me.

“I took on your blame and your curse on My soul
So you may be free without judgment and whole.”

I sputtered, “Dear Lord, where’s the justice in this?
I killed my first son, and you offer me bliss?”

Tears blurred my vision, yet there on His face
Were eyes of compassion, blue oceans of grace.

I thought to myself, “Now the past has been buried?
I’m free of the guilt that for years I have carried?”

He said to accept. It’s a gift that is free.
This is atonement, not justice for me!

My judge was dismissed, my accusers, and jury.
The truth of His love made them leave in a fury.

He smiled,”Walk with Me and come learn My way”
And grasping His hand, I began a new day.

Abortion: Our Great Moral Issue

“The word of the Lord came to me saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…’” (Jeremiah 1:4-5)

Every generation has its great moral issues to face.  In the 1700’s our founding fathers stood up to a tyrannical monarchy and won our Nation’s freedom.  In the mid 1800’s the abolitionists stood up against an oppressive system and won the slaves freedom.  Likewise, our generation faces a great moral crises that all people should unite and defeat, thus winning the unborn’s freedom.

January 22nd marks the 35th anniversary of the diabolical Supreme Court decision known as Roe vs. Wade, which effectively legalized abortion in America.  Since that time approximately 50 million children have been “legally” killed with the full blessing of the United States government.  Some recent good news reported by the Alan Guttmacher Institute was that in 2005, abortions in America reached their lowest point since 1976, with a “mere” 1.2 million children being exterminated in our country.  While its promising to see abortions decrease, it is a far cry from what we should see in a country that boasts of how “civilized” it is.

One of the greatest tragedies on this issue is the seeming indifference of so many people, including Christians.  The argument is that abortion is a “political” issue and should therefore not be discussed by people of faith.  But with all due respect…if seeking to protect the very lives of our most vulnerable would-be citizens isn’t a moral issue, then I don’t know what is.  It’s time for Christians, and indeed all Americans, to “step up to the plate” on abortion.  And by God’s grace, in this glorious country of ours, we have that opportunity through our political process.

As you know, 2008 marks an election year in America.  And undoubtedly you will be inundated with political advertisements, mailings, and calls.  I would encourage you to ask those seeking your vote where they stand on this great moral issue of our day.  And if they piously praise their view of defending a “woman’s right to choose” kindly remind them of their duty before God to defend a “baby’s right to breathe.”  Manipulated women and slaughtered children are too often used as political pawns by some to gain votes, prestige, and power.  But the political games must stop.  All Americans, regardless of their party affiliation, should unite to defend children against this heinous moral calamity of our day. Will God bless a nation that murders its young?  Indeed, He will not! So stand up, speak out, vote, and pray to end abortion.  Millions and millions of future “heartbeats” hinge upon your courage, or lack thereof.

Abortion — 34 Years of National Tragedy

(Originally posted Jan. 23, 2007 at www.narrowroadblog.com)

Imagine if something horrible happened to the United States and scores of people perished. In fact, imagine that 20 percent of our population was killed by some catastrophe. Would there be sadness? Would there be mourning? What if the catastrophe was a planned act of violence against our citizens? Would there be outrage? What if the act was committed only against children….and even then only against the smallest, most defenseless children? Would you be appalled? Would you be appalled enough to fight to see the wrong made right? Imagine….on second thought, stop imagining. You don’t have to imagine…because it’s not imaginary. It’s real. It’s abortion. And it’s tragic beyond words.

January 22nd, marked the 34th anniversary of the deplorable Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion. Since that time, over 47 million babies have been legally killed in America. That would be roughly 1/5 or our entire national population wiped out. The shameless politicizing of this national tragedy is an embarrassment to our country’s morals. Gutless politicians, eager to please a radical feminist agenda, frequently spout off pious sound bites about defending a “women’s right to choose.” It would be so heroic and noble, if politicians were defending a woman’s right to choose anything other than murdering her own child. If you decide to bury your head in the sand and call it “choice” go ahead….I choose to call abortion what it is. All too often, we like to hide our ugly sins behind pretty words. But the fact is, abortion kills babies. Don’t call it “choice.” Call it “tragedy.”

In the Bible, the Psalmist wrote these words to God, “For You formed my inward parts; you wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalms 139:13-14 (NASB) How tragic and sad, that while God is creating that life in the womb, a man’s cold, sharp needle sometimes ends it. How heinous it is that this happens purposely, and with the full blessing of American law. That needs to change.

Pray that the dark stain on America’s soul known as abortion would come to an end. Be courageous and speak out for those who can’t speak out for themselves. Refuse to tolerate the lunacy coming from “pro-choice” politicians and demand them to defend our nation’s helpless children. If they refuse, then help them find a new occupation. Every American, regardless of their political affiliation should oppose abortion. There’s simply no excuse for defending it. If you’re currently on the wrong side of this issue….change sides. If you’ve had an abortion in the past, remember that God stands ready to forgive. If you ever face an “un-wanted pregnancy” remember that there are plenty of other options besides abortion. America needs to come together on this issue. We can debate lesser issues, but when a baby’s life is at stake we should all stand united. How many more millions will die before we see a change? Pray and act. Oppose abortion. And pray that God might see fit to forgive our nation for the vile sin of legalized infanticide.

Presidential Candidates Discuss Faith & Rudy Giuliani Gets A ‘Sign From God’

An interesting thing happened during the Republican presidential debate last night. Front runner, Rudy Giuliani was asked a question about his pro-choice abortion views. While answering the question, lightening struck the building and caused Giuliani’s microphone to fizzle out. Of course, the debate was taking place during a thunderstorm, and lightening strikes are common during such storms. But still, the irony of the moment was not lost on anyone, including Rudy, who commented that given the fact he grew up in parochial schools, what just happened was “frightening.”

It would be easy to overreact to this interesting moment. Last month a bird pooped on President Bush while he was having a press conference in the White House Rose Garden, and some saw that as a sign of disfavor from God towards Bush. In actuality, it was just a bird being a bird. And last night’s lightening strike was just one of a thousand strikes that hit the earth everyday. BUT……even skeptics would have to admit…the circumstances were extremely eerie to say the least.

With that said, I think we should have no doubt about God’s view of abortion. (see Psalm 139:16; Jeremiah 1:5; or Matthew 19:14) You would think even the most ardent supporters of infanticide would concede that killing a child within the mother’s womb is wrong. It’s wrong in God’s eyes, and it should be wrong in America’s eyes. But sadly, common sense and morality take a back seat to political ambition and power in 21st century America.

A few nights ago, the 3 leading Democratic candidates spoke about “Faith issues” in an “interview debate” forum. It appeared to be a clear attempt to siphon votes from religious conservatives. And, as expected, the answers were very vague. You didn’t hear much “God” or “Jesus” talk. Just the ambiguous “faith” that they claimed was so important to them. Hillary Clinton claims to pray everyday, and that her “faith” got her through the Monica Lewinsky scandal. John Edwards talked about the “faith” that got him and his wife through the tragic loss of their son and the ongoing battle with his wife’s cancer. Barrack Obama, who is the most comfortable addressing faith issues, used “faith” as a platform to go on rabbit trails attacking everything else (Iraq, poverty, corporate scandal, etc.)

My point is this…..political candidates can talk all they want about how important their “faith” is to them, but unless that “faith” motivates them to stand for Biblical truth, their “faith” is nothing more than political jargon. Any “faith” that defends partial birth abortion (as all 3 of these Democratic candidates support) would seem to be a “faith” influenced more by Demons than the Divine. Likewise on the whole gay marriage issue.

There is no doubt that some of these candidates have suffered great trials, and deserve our sympathy. Edwards loss of his son in a car accident at the age of 16 would be tragic beyond belief. Hillary’s adulterous husband also garners her some sympathy (Just as being married to Hillary garners Bill some sympathy). But just because you’ve experienced some hard times, doesn’t mean you should be President. And just because you use the word “faith” doesn’t really mean you really have it. At least not in the “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved” way. (see Romans 10:9-13)

Political commentator Hugh Hewitt has repeatedly predicted a Clinton-Obama ticket in November 2008, and this seems to be a strong possibility. Try to imagine what America might look life after 8 more years of a Clinton presidency, followed by another 8 years of Barrack Obama. Armageddon, here we come!

Seriously, the thought of 16 years of such left-wing lunacy occupying the White House, might invoke memories of Old Testament Babylonian captivity for the people of God (see Daniel 1; plus several others). Thousands of babies stand to be slaughtered. Rampant perversion stands to be accepted. And religious liberty will go down the tubes. Take a glimpse at the radical secularism that has turned Europe into such a pompous mass of atheistic intellectualism, and you may see where America is heading.

But, our hope doesn’t rest in any politician. Our hope rests in the Lord, who will one day right all wrongs, and bring justice to the Earth.(see Matthew 25:32) Yet, given the fact that God has blessed us with a free country and a democratic means of electing officials; it becomes our privilege, and indeed our duty, to vote for those who will come closest to upholding and defending morality. A morality as defined by God in His Word….NOT defined by Barrack Obama and his ambition. May God save America. He’s the only ONE who can.
